How long must I wait before purchasing a memorial?

Your memorial or marker can be purchased at any time. Some families purchase their monument immediately following a funeral, where others may wait longer. On the average, most will wait approximately 2 to 3 weeks before making their selection.

No. If a proper foundation is poured for your memorial the work can be done right away if desired. We at Lloyd Memorials use our own concrete mixer and pour most foundation to vault depth. This assured you that no settling of your monument will occur. If we pour the foundation, we guarantee it.

Most orders for in-stock monuments take about 2 weeks to complete, weather permitting. Custom orders usually take 6-8 weeks depending on the material, complexity of the design, etc.

The majority of today’s memorials are made of various types of granite from all over the world. Others are made of marble, which is beautiful, however much less durable than granite, and bronze, which is very popular for use in memorial parks.

At Lloyd Memorials every price we give includes the memorial or maker selected, the names and dates required at time of purchase, a solid concrete foundation that if poured by us is guaranteed against settling, and installation in local cemeteries. Occasionally some cemeteries charge prices above normal for foundations which may not be included in the purchase price.
